Cat With Fruits

Cat With Fruits is a series of illustrations created for the packaging of a dried fruit brand. Each illustration shows cats playing with different fruits. The colors were taken from photographs of nature captured with a mobile phone camera and then desaturated to create gentle tones. Designers sketched and optimized the figure in a very short time as an action figure in the style of the well-known action heroes. Then they designed a small comic with a story and produced this figure in 3D printing with high-quality packaging.

Nanxiang Incity

Nanxiang Incity is a visual signage system created for a shopping mall in Shanghai. The design draws on the local culture of Nanxiang, an area known for cranes and temples, and turns the form of cranes flying in pairs into abstract signage images. Floor guides and merchant listings are placed at escalator entrances and exits and at points where visitor flows cross. White ink blocking printing is applied to the light sheets, so text and outlines stay clear. The hanging pieces use mirror pivot points that blend with the mall interior.
