1821 Vintage Bolgrad

The Bolgrad brand embodies the essence of the southern regions of the Ukrainian coast: light atmosphere, great climate and good winemaking. The year 1821, which is indicated on the label and is its centerpiece, is the year the city of Bolgrad, located in the Odessa region in the south of the country, was founded. Spicy Shrimp Soybean Sauce

Spicy Shrimp Soybean Sauce is a packaging design for shrimp paste. Unlike similar products that use strong and prominent colors, the packaging follows a simple and natural approach. The outer packaging features a calligraphic shrimp character as its main graphic element. The inner jar carries a label with a simple line drawing. A soft fish basket form gives the product a warm and natural character. The whole package contains no non-degradable plastic, which reduces harm to rivers and soil. Designers made many attempts to visualize and reshape the two classic mythological stories of Qi Tian Da Sheng and Nezha Naohai and integrate them together.

Floating Life

Floating Life is a series of illustrated posters about human emotions and personalities. The title refers to the ancient Lao-Zhuang school, which viewed life in the world as empty and described it as a floating life. The illustrations shape each character so that thoughts appear on the surface of the figure and not only in the mind. Each poster is joined by a written explanation of the emotion shown. The aim is to help viewers notice the details of the work and recognize emotions that occur in everyday life.

Dimension in the Shadows

Dimension in the Shadows is a desk calendar made from black paperboard cut by laser. The set contains twelve monthly cards, each with a different design. Every card is mounted in a slit of a small wooden cube. Dates for Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays are cut through, while weekdays are half cut. Each abstract figure recalls a scene of the changing seasons in Japan. Seen against the light, the sharp outline reads as a paper sculpture. The cast shadow changes shape as the light moves, adding quiet interest to daily life.
