Circle Unfulfilled Massage Device

Circle Unfulfilled

Circle Unfulfilled is a packaging design for eye and neck massage devices. The form is inspired by the portals and bridges of Suzhou gardens, where a full circle is never found. The shape protects the product while reducing empty space inside the pack. A recycled material called SupraPulp, made from bagasse, is used for the structure. Without extra processing, the pack degrades in 45 to 90 days and returns to the material loop. The soft outer graphics and the calm color scheme suggest the gentle pressure of a massage.

Tokaj Gin Label Packaging Design

Tokaj Gin Label

Tokaj Gin Label is the bottle design for a gin produced in the Tokaj wine region of Hungary. The characteristic hills of the landscape are illustrated in a geometric manner, resembling traditional copper engravings. The dimensions and the rhythm of the pattern were studied carefully to refine the lens effect. The illustrations are screen printed directly on the surface of the bottle. The transparent liquid inside distorts the pattern when the bottle is viewed. The simple design gives an insight into the region where the gin is distilled.

Lab Future Construction Event Identity

Lab Future Construction

Lab Future Construction is an event identity created for a design exhibition in Taiwan. The identity is based on a new written language called Hou-Ru Wen. Hou-Ru Wen was developed by reconstructing existing notes, signs and symbols from the viewpoint of an alien observer. The letterforms mix the word structures of Phoenician and Berber, and Mandarin phonetic symbols are used for spelling. The layout refers to Sumerian cuneiform, so the writing is aligned to the bottom. The identity extends to the venue, the website and the catalog.

Granovita

Granovita is a packaging design for granola. A cardboard box replaces the flexible pouch commonly used for cereal, giving more control over how the product appears on shelves. Icons, expressive lettering and bright colors convey a positive message. The cardboard can be composted, so the solution stays environmentally friendly and low in cost. Each box measures 160 by 120 by 40 millimeters.
